Pink Monday
January 18, 2027

Pink is the new blue!

Turn Blue Monday into Pink Monday
Blue Monday, the third Monday in January, is known as the most depressing day of the year. The holidays are over, vacation seems far away, and the gray winter weather doesn’t help lift your spirits.

But at Pink Ribbon, we’re more than happy to change that! On Monday, January 18, 2027, we’ll turn Blue Monday into Pink Monday once again. Together with companies across Belgium, we’ll make breast cancer a topic of conversation in the workplace. Because even at work, it’s important to reflect on breast cancer, share knowledge, and show solidarity with everyone affected by it.

What can your company do?

1) Raise awareness and provide information about breast cancer

  • Wear at least one pink item of clothing together with your coworkers to show your support.

  • Change your company’s logo, social media channels, or internal screens to pink.

  • Share information about breast cancer prevention and screening.

2) Raise funds for Pink Ribbon

Organize a fun activity within your company to raise money for the fight against breast cancer in honor of Pink Monday. Here are a few ideas:

  • Sell pancakes, cakes, or homemade soup.

  • Organize a solidarity breakfast or afternoon snack.

  • Place a Pink Ribbon donation jar in a visible spot or encourage your colleagues to make an online donation.

  • Sell the newest edition of our Pink Ribbon ribbon so your support is visible every day.

The funds raised support breast cancer research, Pink Ribbon’s projects in the areas of prevention, detection, and psychosocial care for patients, as well as our awareness campaigns.

3) Enter the Pink Monday contest

This year, we’re organizing another contest. Take an original, funny, beautiful, crazy, creative, spontaneous… photo with your company, and who knows—you might win our grand prize: a flashmob at your workplace!
