Pink is the new blue!
Turn Blue Monday into Pink Monday
Have you heard of Blue Monday? It’s the third Monday of January and is often considered the most depressing day of the year. The holidays are over, the next vacation feels far away, and the gray winter weather doesn’t help lift your mood.
At Pink Ribbon, we want to change that! On January 19, we’re turning Blue Monday into Pink Monday: a positive day, full of meaning and concrete actions that make breast cancer discussable in the workplace.
The concept:
1) Raise awareness and inform

Dress in pink with your colleagues to show your support.

Put your logo, social media, or internal screens in pink.

Share information about breast cancer screening and prevention.
2) Take action to raise funds
Organize a fun and enjoyable activity within your company on Monday, January 19. Some ideas:

Sell pancakes, cakes, or homemade soup.

Host a solidarity breakfast or afternoon snack.
-
Organize a quiz or internal competition (e.g., health quiz, music quiz).

Sell our new edition of the Pink Ribbon ribbon to make your support visible every day.
Funds raised will support scientific breast cancer research and the projects of our nonprofit organization.
3) Join the Pink Monday contest
This year, we’re making it even more fun! We have three categories and three fantastic prizes:

Most funds raised: win an exclusive visit from our mascot Sandy at your company. Sandy is not just any mascot; she raises awareness in a playful and warm-hearted way about early detection of breast cancer and promotes participation in mammoquiz.be, an educational quiz about breast cancer.

Most creative action: get an interview and a nice feature on our website and in the Pink Ribbon newsletter.

Best photo: win a Pink Ribbon sports outfit (t-shirt and cap) for 10 of your employees.

On Pink Monday we wear pink. Dive into your wardrobe and put together a colourful outfit.

Fundraising
Organize a fun event and raise funds for Pink Ribbon. Every contribution helps advance breast cancer research and our projects.

Sandy and Mammoquiz
Invite mascot Sandy to visit your company, encourage your team to complete the Mammoquiz, and then receive the anonymous results.
